Their presence is ubiquitous in Pu Luong, and if fortunate, you may share a local family meal featuring this delicacy.

  • Restaurants: While dining options remain limited, the recently opened “KM0” restaurant stands out for its excellent services. It is located at the entrance of Don village, near Pu Luong Retreat, the restaurant offers a cozy ambiance with wooden and bamboo décor, complemented by a picturesque Reserve view.

TIP: As you may not have time during your busy days visiting the Reserve, you can enjoy a meal there while waiting for the shuttle bus departing at 1.30pm.

  • Local homestays: Immersing in the culture through shared meals in local homes is a rewarding approach. Joining guided tours provides access to these experiences, where hosts may invite you to witness their cooking techniques and participate in meal preparation.
  • Cooking class: Elevate your engagement by not only indulging in local cuisine but also learning the cooking process and recipes.
